Sorry there hasn't been anything in a while. I really need to remember to update this blog. Anyway, the Specters are on hold for about another month more, as I mentioned on Boolprop. I just don't have the time right now; I've got so many projects and papers and presentations and readings to do for school this last month. Hopefully I'll have more time to update in May, when school wraps up.
Other projects on the way include a revamp of Finding Consort and a new sim story starring my favorite villain, Dagmar. With the sims 2 site being sketchy and randomly breaking down all the time, I thought it was time to convert my first ever sim story to powerpoint and put it on the blog. It's not great, but it's mine and it's what got me started writing, you know? I just have to finish converting them. I'll probably end up consolidating some of the earlier chapters too. As for the latter, the new story is an idea I've had for a while but didn't really have a clue where to start until I had a breakthrough recently. I wrote a little bit of it for a class assignment and I'm excited about how it turned out. I'm hoping that that was a sign and I'll get to put something up this summer.
Last is the matter of the Finding Consort finale. Sigh. I really planned to have the story all wrapped up before New Year's, but I've had some trouble. It seems that I accidentally deleted Veronaville, the hood the story was in. Luckily I have backups but the bad news is that the few scenes I had already shot last summer are all gone. I was literally about three or four scenes away from being done and now I basically have to start the chapter all over. I was a little bummed out when I realized that, so that's why there's been absolutely nothing on that for such a long while. I do want to finish it though, because like I said, it's my first story. Besides, I think it would be nice to actually finish something for once. I haven't really thought about an end date, but I guess I'll just make it my summer project.
So that's what's been going on simmers, and I'll try to keep everyone posted. Later.
